Memory complaints may be associated with many psychiatric, neurological or physical problems such as anxiety, schizophrenia, depression, insomnia, head injuries, stroke, learning disabilities, neurotoxic exposure, impact of alcohol/drugs, dementia, or delirium etc. Therefore, psychologists need to fully understand the above situations in the assessment process.
