Memory Assessment
Memory assessment is to provide a full range of memory functioning including auditory memory, immediate memory, delayed memory, visual memory and visual working memory, etc according to the current theories of memory. Memory complaints may be associated with many psychiatric, neurological or physical problems such as anxiety, schizophrenia, depression, insomnia, head injuries, stroke, learning disabilities, neurotoxic exposure, impact of alcohol/drugs, dementia, or delirium etc. Therefore, psychologists need to fully understand the above situations in the assessment process.
