Mrs. Chan has years of counseling experiences in tertiary education and non-government organization. She currently teaches counseling course in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and provides supervision and training to counselors. Mrs. Chan has studied different counseling approaches including psychodynamic therapy, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy, eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing, somatic experiencing, Satir family therapy and mindfulness. She is experienced in counseling clients with emotional disturbance, mental problems, personal growth, relational and family issues. She will choose the most appropriate treatment to help her clients in consideration of their problems and needs.
