Ms. Yu had years of experience in business management and providing counseling service in church setting before she gained her Master of Counseling degree in New York City and became a professional counselor. The clinical cases that Ms. Yu handled include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia. She is also good at helping adults and adolescents to face various life obstacles, such as personal growth issues, interpersonal relationship issues and grieving.

Ms. Yu tailors her therapy towards the need of different clients, using a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Ms. Yu has also led workshops on related topics.
